Oven Hug recipes are a modern take on Persian food.  The majority of the recipes here are low in sugar and high in nutrients. 

The goal is to find balance, gain energy, and ultimately to do the things you love!

I run Oven Hug from home offices in California.  We spend time in both the SF Bay Area and in South Orange County.  

My folks and my in-laws are where it all began for us. They were the pioneers that brought us here from Iran almost 50 years ago!  I am beyond grateful they did.

Bita is a co-host of the award-winning podcast, Modern Persian Food - a podcast embracing rich traditions of Persian culture through the lense of food.

Along with her co-host, Beata Nazem Kelley, Bita cultivates a growing community of Persian food enthusiasts, together demystifying unique ingredients to bring royal recipes to everyday cooking!

Modern Persian Food podcast dives into cultural spotlights such as the Perisan New Year and the fall festival Mehregan.  Bita and Beata share recipes and bring in chefs, restaurant owners, and cookbook authors.

Coach Bita is passionate about fitness and nutrition.  She has close to a decade of experience as a master health and wellness coach guiding kids, teens, and families using behavior-based modification tools.

Bita offers personalized support, accountability, and guidance to help achieve optimal health and wellness goals.

She is an enrollment coach and mentor for the Pediatric Health Coach Academy
and is currently training to become a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach.
